I am persuaded that the symbol of a Christian life ought to be "thumbs up."
Thumbs up! Thumbs-up or thumbs-down are common hand gestures to indicate approval or disapproval respectively.
They are so universally understood that are used metaphorically in English literature. The movie critic writes, “The audience gave the movie a thumbs-up" meaning the audience approved of what they saw.
A Thumbs up gesture also means "all is well." It can also serve as a reminder to Christians of where our true resource lies because a believing person is advised to focus affections and thoughts upon heavenly things. The apostle Paul urged people to set our minds and our hearts on "things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God." Just as the thumb points upward, so Christians are to look to "things above" for their help in living life here and now. Colossians 3:1-4
